The Draeger Pac 3500 two year disposable O2 gas detector is a great way to get constant analytical readings of Oxygen with alarms if the device encounters dangerously high or low levels. The ability to provide accurate continuous readings has been what's made this one of the most trusted monitors on the market. When it reads a dangerous level of O2, it vibrates, sounds a 90 dB multi-tone alarm, and flashes 360 degree LEDs.

The Pac 3500 is constructed to endure your work site rigors, with a durable rubber-coated housing that protects against impacts and most corrosive chemicals. It features a sturdy crocodile D-ring clip and meets IP65 standards for water-resistance.

What really separates Draeger is the accuracy of their sensors. Not only will the Pac 3500 give you continuous readings, but it gives you a reading with a resolution down to 0.1 Vol. percent. The sensor on the O2 monitor can last for two years without needing to be calibrated.

Drager has been saving lives with their innovative equipment since they were founded in the 1800s. Today their equipment is regularly found in hospitals, fire departments, and a myriad of industrial work sites because of the accuracy and ease of use.

The Drager PAC3500 series of gas detectors have replaceable batteries. The recommended replacement is a Panasonic CR123A lithium 3 volt battery. This type of battery is available from other manufacturers as well, with similar part numbers that all seem to include the ‘123’ in their nomenclature.

The Draeger PAC 3500 detectors may be turned off when not in use. This will extend the battery life of the unit. However, the 2 year countdown still applies. The alarms do not have a ‘silence’ mode available. You could turn the detector off, and that will silence the alarm. But as long as the unit is turned on, and dangerous levels of gas are detected, the alarm will sound.
