DBI-SALA ExoFit Safety D-Ring Harness
The ExoFit series of harnesses from DBI-SALA are some of our very best sellers. Know by professionals who work at-height to have excellent comfort and fit, the ExoFit meets or exceeds all OSHA and ANSI requirements for fall protection.
ExoFit harnesses are made out of only the best lightweight materials. With its Dri-Lex lining to wick away moisture and Lycra edging around the contact straps, wearers are protected from rubbing and chafing while having the harness on for extended periods of time.
The ExoFit line of harnesses is designed for the real work environment. Many harnesses are a jumble of confusing clips and buckles that take workers a long time to figure out. The ExoFit is constructed to be intuitive and easy-to-use. It slips on easily and clips into place with minimal effort. The buckles are quick-connect, so fastening takes only a few seconds.
One feature that distinguishes the ExoFit is that the back of the harness is one piece of material. By isolating the straps with this connecting square, the harness keeps its shape and makes it simple to get into and out of. Most harnesses become tangled when they are stored since the straps flip inside of one another. The ExoFit can be dropped in a carry bag or stuffed behind the seat of the truck and will still come out holding its shape and making getting suited up and ready to work easy.
The ExoFit Vest style harness from DBI-SALA comes with with back d-ring, loops for a belt and quick connect/release buckles.

Does this harness have a life span? Does it need to be re-certified?2 answers
Harnesses are supposed to be replaced every five years. They are not required to be re-certified, but should be taken out of service if they suffer a serious fall.
They should be taken out of service if they suffer any fall....not just a serious one...
I'm 6'2" 240lb and my electrician is 5'8" 270lb. Will the XL fit us or do I need the XXL?1 answer
Checking the Capital Safety size chart for the Exofit harness, it looks like both of you are solidly in the Large size. Harness fit can be affected by heavy clothing. We have customers in the Dakotas that seem to always go up a size to fit over winter clothing. Moving up to an XLarge should be okay, as the harnesses are quite adjustable.
Which size "DBI-SALA ExoFit Safety D-Ring Harness" should I order if I'm looking for a single harness to support a group of people averaging 5'8" to 6'0" tall and 150 - 225 lbs?
The Capital Safety Exofit harness is quite adjustable. For the 6ft 225 lb person, they might get in to the Medium, but to be on the safe side, I would go with the Large. Your smaller folks should be able to cinch down the straps enough to get a decent fit. Also, if you are wearing cold weather gear, that takes a bit more room when fitting the harness.
